oh ya well i was walking home last night at about 330 and a cop pulled me over, asked what i was doing and i told him i was jogging home, he asked for my id and i showed it to him, he then proceded to tell me i was lying to him and that i wouldnt be jogging at night in regular cloths, i then told him that i dont have a license and that i was seriously just going home btw i was not running around in the middle of the street or anything, he then proceded to tell me that if i didnt "lie" to him in the first place he would have probly just let me go, they then made me take a breathalyzer...which now that i think about it im stupid for even doing it seeing as how i wasnt even driving or doing ANYTHING wrong... but i did blew a .08, the cop had a bad attitude the whole time while i was nothing short of cooperative, he then said to the other cop that they better put me in cuffs...sooo i put my arms out and he twisted my arm behind my back patted me down and threw me in the car where he wrote a ticket, scanned my id and called detox to find out they were full they then took me home and sent me on my way with my ticket

ticket was for mip/c...yup im still underage and this will be my second offense mip/c... i think ill fight this one as i dont see any reasonable cause for them to pull me over

LPD has a problem with profiling. My friend james got pulled over today cuz plates and the cop searched his entire car hoping to find weed cuz of 4/20. He had to write him a warning cuz LPD requires cops record the race of everyone they pull over... wonder why....

well to expand on that they didnt actually "pull me over", they were pulled over talking to some guy so i tried to avoid them as much as i could but i had to wait at the stop sign and the cop yelled over to me going for the 5k tonight and i said nope just out for a jog and i proceded to continue and he said wait come here and thats when everything else happend so i dont know if i could use the profiling thing any thoughts?

if oyur underage and not drinking, just refuse. they will give you the mip anyways but even the worst of lawyers can get it dropped.

i feel for you. i just got done with my second mip and 1st zero tolerance dui AND careless driving, i wasnt even ****ing drunk lol.

since this is your second offense, you will probably get a $500 fine. get a decent lawyer if you can. dont get a third one. the judge told me its an automatic 7 days in jail if your over 19 or some ****. i dont remember, i was hung over :rolleye:

i was JOGGING for ****s sake i jogged over 2 miles before this even happend i dont recall slurring or anything, **** when i came home and told my dad he couldnt believe i had even been drinking

public and underage intoxication is illegal but imo they had no reason to even find out as i think it was more of a lucky guess then it was absolutely noticeable

well i talked to the lawyer today and she started laughing like crazy when i told her she couldnt believe i got in trouble for that so sounds like ill be alright there, she then gave me a nice long lecture about drinking but i was probly due for one of those

on another note she said that loud exhaust is a valid reason for getting pulled over, but she is probly going to have me plead not guilty to the DUS ticket, that i should get my license reinstated in the meantime because that will look better to the court but i will still run the risk of getting it suspended for another year

my judge is mary doyle, my lawyer said they call her maximum mary :ohnoes: and the reason that she told me to get a lawyer was because they are looking at giving me jail time so hopefully all will be well!
