Scott called me today and said he was driving through Hastings for a job and saw a track there. He asked somebody about it and they said its going to be a circle and 1/4 mile track. And it will be done this spring. I was like WTF? If its true, how come none of us have known about it or posted anything about it? THats only like a 1 1/2 hour drive max from Lincoln. Better then Kearney and lower elevation. Can anybody confirm this? Hopefully its true.

Well this so called track is still under construction, so I don't know what it is doing in this ever so out dated list of tracks.

I've known about it for more than a year now. I have a friend that lives in Hastings though, so he has been keeping me up to date.

Last I heard they weren't sure if it was going to be an 1/8 or a 1/4 mile, and it was still just plans in the future, once the road track was established.

I know one of the owners of the track in Hastings. The plans for a dragstrip are plans.....
as for now the roadcourse is open for biz. I've been on the track in Hastings several times & I would have to say it doesn't matter if you have a V8 or a 4 banger....the track is a blast except for turn 14 which is a double apex.
Nebraska Region & Colorado Region of the SCCA are hosting a double regional this weekend @ MPH.
MPH is about an 1 hour an 25 minutes from Lincoln.
