1/8mile content, ran an 03 cobra

I am pretty happy overall. I only did 3 passes, but I left early too.

first run was:
1.8 60'
8.3 sec
83.5 mph
and I bogged the launch a tiny bit honestly not bad, but def not a perfect launch

2nd run:
1.9 60'
8.4 or 8.5sec
82mph
this one I launched a little too high, and spun out of the hole, then hit 2nd and was all over the track, then hit 3rd and got another scratch. GHEY!

3rd run I got a race with an 03 cobra that I had been talking to the whole time in line, he was actually really cool. He had just got teh car like 2-3 weeks ago. But has a 96 cobra too, real cool guy. Either way.

and yes I ran faster than the 03, and to my surprise he did not pull me up top at all, I actually was like fender to fender with this kid. I am super stoked. He ran a 8.5 or 8.7sec run


yes the 03 was stock, i think... he didnt mention any mods. Def want to race him in the 1/4 to see how much he pulls me up top

John, your car looks good, and runs real hard, for all that dont know, I ran him 1 time and he murdered me, he ran like a 7.5 or somthing, when I ran my 8.5

BTW, an 8.3 puts you in the 13.0 range in the 1/4.

Those are good numbers for sure. I doubt that Cobra would have much more then a driver's race if you were going 1/4. Here is a stock one that ran the same 1/8 as you. Didn't really start picking up till after the 1/8.
