1970s 350 with camel humps, flattops, l82 cam, OLD edlebrock torquer, BAD ASS lt1 aluminum valve covers. Free from his dad. $180 to redo heads.

1974 Q-jet free striped inlet fixed inlet with jb weld

1979 th 350 trans stock rebuild free from me

Odds and ends from salvage yards, machinest cores, old parts out of the back of the parts department.

Last night we did the ebke custom exhaust. Not very pretty but cheap. The dealership we work at has a bunch of old exhaust from the 30s on up so I cut and patched till we had a 2" duals. Small but they will get us by till we get all the bugs worked out. Then I am pushing for 2.25 into 3" single turbo muffler for stealthyness.

The only mod I see that needs to be done is the clean windshield mod. Maybe get the engine filthy so it blends in with the other V8 S10s in the area.

He got the HHR fan in last night and wired to the dodge minivan switch for auto operation (on at 180 off at 170). Hoping for test drive after a bit of aircleaner swapping and making a carb stud. On a side note it has weak suck 3.08s and a open but I am pushing to spool it and we will see how long the rearend lives.

Test drive a success, 150' long single burnout in the rain. Kid still needs to figure out the shifter. Needs the spool, engine hold down and emptyed cause the back is full of ****.

I am fairly confident he isn't planning on painting the cowl white. Maybe the part of it directly behind the hood scoop, but a white cowl would look pretty stupid.

What are your plans for the truck motorwise? As it sits, a 9 in would be WAY more expensive than necessary. You can pick up a posi 8.8 with 31 spline axels, 3.73's or 4.10's from an exploder with disc brakes for ~250-300. You're looking at spending some coin narrowing a 9 in to fit when these are plenty strong and bolt right in. Just my 2 cents

Spraying the hell out of it is a very good possibility once the cash flow builds back up. And like hillbilly said I picked up a narrowed 9 inch pretty cheap then had some custom moser 31 spline axles made for it.

I bought mine from a guy in town that had bought a swapped truck that was custom painted and he had both hoods but this one wasn't painted yet. It's fiberglass and the fit isn't perfect but I picked it up for $100.
