Well it will be the end of the motor for awhile. I want to finish the suspension and repaint it at least. All i have to buy for the motor after this is a bigger turbo/manifold.

^No its a BNR stage 4. It kinda sucks that the wastegate was blowing open it should have been tuned on 18lbs. Its a blast to drive though thats for sure. Put down 285lb ft at 4600 and 322rwhp at 6600. It would have been over 400hp for sure if we could have held boost. I will probly just drive it like this for awhile and get my diff mount and wastegate fixed.

Its set at 8400 and gets there quick in 1st and second. Once it breaks the tires it just pegs the tach. It really comes on hard around 4500 and pulls like crazy from there.

Just bp premium and a greddy profec spec 2. It peaks at 12lbs at 4500 and falls off to 9-10 from 5200-6000 and then to 8-9 from 6-8k. It will stay in a straight line just likes to get a little sideways in first and second.:)

Did you not read what I just said? The cars that are turbo stock have the strong rear end. The Non-turbo cars have the weak rear-end and half-shafts, which is what all convertibles in the US are. So the non-turbo rear ends do brEAK. Mine never did with my 350, but it was an auto. Brandos with the LT1/T-56 broke his non-turbo one after some abuse.

Yeah. The only difference is a 8" ring gear vs a 7", and the half shafts are a lot tougher. You swap the whole rear, and it's a bolt in deal, with the exception of the driveshaft situation which takes some modification..

Then why do they break? This is a old conversation but I remember someone telling me they would handle a sbc with no change. So if they are super duper why are they braking? In fact I belive it was something to the effect that the import axle was better than a domestic axle. I broke a 12 bolt ring gear so they are junk too.

and 322 isnt bad at all, nothing blazing fast. but good enough IMHO

Its still the n/a one. I have a s4 t2 one waiting to go in along with hardened mounts, just dont have the time.

They have some federal enforcement money right now so a ton of the SP guys are working overtime for selective enforcement. Now would be a good time to be very careful.
