1995 Dodge Viper RT/10. 43k miles. Got it from a dealer in Kansas.

Car is in really good shape mechanicly. At 38k miles it underwent a major tuneup at Dodge of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have all the service records and the total cost came to $8,400. This included a brand new transmission and clutch. Previous owner said he couldn't get it in reverse. Also included a cooling system flush, new thermostat, misc gaskets, plugs, wires, throttle body service, new fuel filter, and rear diff service. So basicly everything that needed to be done at a 40k mile tuneup has been done.

Only weak link is it still has the stock head gaskets that pretty much need to be upgraded if you start modding heavily or will just start leaking.

Current mods are just smooth tubes and I believe K&N filters, but I still have to open the airbox to be sure.

Immidiate mods are a trip to Ming next week for there mirror finish. And a new CD player/amp. New rear tires will be fairly soon as well. And a driver mod.

Future mods are exhaust. After that not quite sure yet.

not too uncommon to see 30+ rwhp just from ditching the cats,these cars are uber responsive to mods usually.

Stock #'s for the 1st Gens are usually about 350/440 RW. There pretty tourque. With just fitlers, tubes, and exhaust will bump them up to about 400/480. The exhaust I'm looking at is a highflow cat muffler combo and is $850.

most viper guys just remove the mufflers and just use the cat as a muffler..........if you do a search on google theres tons of reviews on different exaust setups....................and ccw's on that black would be sex...........atleast you got a top with the car.......also check out hennessey for take off parts their usually very affordable

IF the wheels were lighter it could make it faster. But I could find alot better ways to spend over a grand on perforamnce mods rather then new rims.

Ming quoated me $214 when I made the appointment for the "mirror finish" it better be worth it.

The closest i got to driving a viper is sitting in one with the key in the ignition engine off and got caught by one of the teachers at school (SCC) before i went any further, i did really think about it though just takin off and drive till i get caught and then be like "ya im not even sorry"

Tires are on. Kuhmo Ecsta V700 Drag Radials. There also known as a road race tire but are also great for straight line racing. So far I'm impressed. I can actually hook up now.

I didn't even think to check the cap. I checked all the hoses, and everything looked bone dry under the hood. Next step was to go to Jasens for the pressure test. It held pressure. So we checked the cap.
