5.0 vs. 5.0

I raced 302fox5 last nite. We raced 3 times from a dig, and I beat him all three times by 1/2 a car. My vehicle is completely stock with the exception of some tranny work. And 302fox5 has full exaust, long tube headers, no cats, msd distributor and I believe thats it.

plus you have the optional 3.08s and i have the 2.73s...but yeah everytime he pulled out a car ahead of me then i would end up being side by side with him before we both let off, but you still won all 3 times

When me and "302fox5" went to go look at his foxbody I noticed that the oil pressure seemd really low (atleast according to the factory guage which they aren't really known to be very accurate) and hence why I told him this is a good price for this car but probably not the best for DD duties as it is was and was going to need some work, and even after he had a new oil pump installed it still seems kinda low...know call me a noob would there be a link between bad oil pressure and the compression?...I am literally mechanicly challanged

Actually I think my old crusty 87 blue GT AOD was more of a turd! It had the exact same mods as "302fox5's car plus my also had a B&M torque converter and a guy with a 79 camaro with a 305 pulled about 3 cars on me...it was embarrasing
