the battle stage, is just a compilation of all the battles between stage 1, 2, and 3 the movie. ( not the live action movie, the 3rd stage was actually a movie )

and the further along you get into the battle stage the better the racing gets

did they come out with episode 3 and 4 with subtitles yet for wangan midnight? and if you havent checked out capeta, its decent. a non car related anime i like quite a bit is g.t.o. aka great teacher onizuka. its decent:)

I heard episode 3 is subtitled by fan sub, but I havnt watched it with subtitles, I have found it in cantonese though. hahah
I dont really watch much anime that doesnt have to do with cars or racing, but I will have to check that out.

yea it is a hong kong movie though,
but it has some pretty famous actors in it,
jay chou (the taiwanese singer) plays takumi
Tai Fei from the young and dangerous movies plays bunta
jordan chan (chan xiao chuan) from young and dangerous plays one of the evo guys
and edison chen plays ryosuke
it is a OK movie, it is all live action though with real driving, no computer ****
so its pretty cool.

I downloaded initial d battle stage two...its all of the races from stage four and then some, white turbo dc2 vs fd is one of them. Only bad thing is i haven't found a english sub yet.
