Anyone know this car?

So i was out cruising last night and came up on a supra near hwy 2 and 56th. I followed him out to 27th and turned behind him. Saw a few bikes roll up, 07 cbr600rr and a sv650 and they do a little run with the supra and to my surprise they stayed pretty even. cbr should have walked all of them but the dealer tag gave away a squid. I figured what the hell i'll give it a try now that i know he doesn't mind a race. I pull next to him on pinelake and we roll race from 2nd. I jump out a car. Then he starts pulling even and finally by top of 3rd he has a fender on me. I only got a few words with the guy after that. He said he was on low boost, didn't mention mods, didn't hear any huge turbo but defiantly a nice looking car. Does anyone know this guy? NE plates, guy looked skinny blond hair, late 20s. I was wondering who else had seen it around...know the mods?

yes that was Jessi, (beach or bearch or somthing) and that guy with the CBR is NOT a squid there kiddo, the bike has 75 miles on it, and he didnt run it over 10k, since he is still breaking it in. DEF clean supra tho

yeah man. the car is gettin looked over this friday at THE SHOP and if everything checks out good ill buy the car later next week. my buddy owns it so i'm sure even if i decide not to buy it he'll let me run it. i need to figure out the boost controller tho bc i'm only running a mild tune at about 15lbs.

been a LONG time since I've seen the SGP supra(Jesse), but back in the day I remember him being older(30s maybe) with black hair, and probably 250lbs. I never knew the guy, just remembered him from Sam's meet ups way back in the day. also his was an automatic and he was running like a T88, and had huge turbo lag. His Supra would have molested your car if it was actually him. I'm sure there's a few people on here that actually knew him though.....bimmerjim maybe? dave? can't think of who else is old school enough to know him. He was pretty much 4bangercity era, and then he didn't seem to be around after that

I knew that wasn't the SGP supra, but I thought he wasn't running stock turbos. Like I said, I haven't seen that car in FOREVER, but I thought I remembered it having some huge turbo lag, and that it was shocking that he only ran 11s. Maybe I'm actually just remembering his auto tranny though, and mistaking that with turbo lag....that's probably it...anyways whatev


there is a lot of false info in the thread, but the main point to extract from all of this is that THERE'S NO WAY that picture is of the SGP supra. The SGP supra would have waxed that mustang. And yes I do remember the spoiler

sgp jesse ran 11.6 @ 118 at supra national in 2006 in houston. i saw the video of him and josh racing each other in houston at my buddy fredros house a couple of weeks ago. they are at supra nationals again this year as we speak.

i saw the video at fredros house. 11.6 @ 118. josh even ran an 11.9 @ 120 this year about two weeks ago. jesse dynoed slightly higher and is cutting better 60s than josh. if you care so much why dont you just call him and ask him yourself. or check out jesses username on the mkiv boards, its bpu'd.

Well time to clear the air, This was my car the infamouse "SGP Supra" I had it out to have the battery replaced at Sear's after storing it for the winter. The car was one a small amount of 92 octane gas that I used to store it for the winter and I had the car on low boost, read 16PSI. I have lost a ton of weight for those that haven't seen me but I don't have blond hair :rofl: Late 20's is right on the money though. The car as it was sitting that day would have ran 12.4 @ 114mph on pump gas and low boost. Track tested in Lonestar Motorsports in Texas in 2007. The car will run 12.07 @ 118mph on high boost and race gas on street tires. The best it has ever ran was 11.67 @ 117mph at San Antonio Raceway in 2004. Hope this helps clear the air, I am still out and running around, just not into the whole weekend "street scene."

Andy BTW, that was a really clean Mustang and definately had more then I anticipated and would have loved a run on race gas, but your tires would make me sad from a dig. High boost and race gas, I'm losing traction until almost 65 mph. The bike runs were a lot of fun though as well!
