i didnt say anything about a bmw 4 cylinder. but i'd have to say that bmw's m20 and m30 i6 is better designed than the 4g63

Untill you show me a 4cyl run faster times then the 4G63's do in the amount of cars they do, well you have no room to speak.

There are countless 4cyl 4G63 powered cars running 7's 8's 9's and 10's.

Granted there is always one or two of any motor doing that but the sheer amount/volume of 4G63 powered cars doing it must mean something.

Also some of you speaking shouldn't be. I have yet to see some of you break 12's let alone 13's. When you can build something that is quick then you get room to speak. Untill then sit down, and let the man stuff the 4g63 into his "holy" bimmer.

A project is just that a project. Respect it for what it is, not what it could have been.

I thought that had more to do with the fact that mitsubishi would finance any idiot with a 6 month work history= lots of eclipses got sold.
And it ain't like you can make 'em handle, so you go run 10's. 'Till they pop(didn't that happen to you too?), and start again.

A stock Ford TurboLima will, and do, make just as much power as 4g63's do. I have one, and I'm not nominating it for best 4cylinder motor either.

There is no Japanese manufacturer that has skimped more than Mitsubishi.

Im with Prez on this one! I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a 4cyl that is overall better. (Maybe a red top 2.0 nissan? I don't know.) Dollar for dollar. HP for HP. Etc, etc, etc. Very hard to beat! 4G63 for LIFE! :)
