Thanks lepa. Its black and black standard interior. It has a big faggot cowl cause if the intake it has. I will have to get my drag strip video put on youtube. Just so you know they were making alum small and big block chevys before you were even a twinkle in your daddys eye. Though I prefer bbcs the sbc is the most hotroded/modified and swapped engine on the planet. There are more parts to modify them avalible than for any other engine. So when you are thinking about how those old push rod motors are so antiquated remember there are more of them floating around than anything nissan has ever made. Plus I can still build one to whoop your ass at whatever budget.

Dude I don't mean to sound pissy its your car do what you want but don't think just cause they are old sbcs are junk. Right now I have a circle jerk 383make 375hp. Whoopy you say, anyone could do that. Maybe but I didn't tell you that is with 9 to 1 compression, a stock unported iron intake, and a 500 cfm 2bbl rochester. I am building a 377 that if it doesn't make 400 I will be pissed, same intake carb and compression. The 377 does share one thing with a import it has honda rod journals.

And my KA rods are longer than a 350sbc. It's more I don't want a carb'd v8 in the car lol.

If I did shove a V8 in my coupe it'd have to be aluminum 377 with fuel injection and a t56.

You really need a 421-434 it would bet better. I just haven't been building them cause I can't find a cheap 400. Fuel injections fine but you can make the same power with a carb.

So use a light rotating assembly if you want to rev quickly. Sure a short stroke will rev but (of course this is in circle track) more torque will come out of the corner first. So even though a 9K or 10k rpm engine sounds cool it is more expensive and shorter lived. Think of it his way. To make X horse power you need Y air/fuel. Since a engine is a airpump as long as you can move the air you can make the same hp with any displacment. You just have to spin it harder. So you can make 500hp out of a 302 if you want but you make it at alot higher rpm cause you have to move the air. Also when you are making this engine work up top you are killing the bottom. So now you say will a 377 is bigger and will rev but still you are going to put in a killer cam and it will still be a dog at the bottom. Remember that t-56 you wanted to use, nope not enought low rpm torque to pull Od in 5th or 6th. So you can really spin a 400-421-434 but now you have hit the problem with sbcs the heads can only work so well without getting crazy. They will limit out on air and can't make more power so to make big power up top you have to have a huge lazy head that once againg doesn't make power at the bottom. It will do a better job than the smaller engines but still low torque doesn't work with overdrive. But why not build a 5500-6000 rpm big inch motor. Sure they don't spin to the moon but why do they need too? They will pull right out of gate and go from there. In my experence high rpm motors aren't responsive they are dogs. Take my engine in my camaro, anything under 2500 it is pissed off. It chugs and coughs. But take it to 4000 and roll on the throttle even in second and it will smoke the tires for 100'. Sure thats neat and what I built it for but there is no reason to ever need a overdrive it will hate it. Once again we have reached the place of what you want and what you think you want.

2. make the cooler lines
3. change to auto console
4. put in shifter
5. measure for new driveshaft
6. move hoop (pull up seats and carpet to move hoop)
7. wire trans brake
8. install deep pan
9. put in the dip stick
10. put in the other 4 bell housing bolt and converter bolts

Nope never had any. Qa1s in the front carquest gas charged rear. air shocks make cameros spin don't let the suspension work.
