Coming over to the dark side. My name is Matt, I have a 47 Chevy 1/2 ton that I am still working the bugs out of and a 1991 Dodge Spirit ES for a daily driver.

I get carried away...

I overestimated my ability to weld cast iron effectively. It ran 100% better with that hole filled, but won't hold together. Soooo, I've got a perfect manifold en-route from someone on e30tech for $50 shipped. To keep the new manifold from cracking(which the other one was doing all over), I've got a flexible connection to weld in, and at the same time I'm adding a 31" glasspack right about halfway up the car to take the edge off that exhaust sound. I also have a complete rebuild kit for the shifter, $30-ish. Then there's a half dozen hoses and gaskets I'm swapping out, and she's all set. I painted the wheels silver again, and shot some tan over the wrinklage on the back. Waxed it. Thinking about tucking the bumpers but can't decide if I like it better ugly or what. Great chance I'll have some black sport seats to put in as well.
Too bad this thing doesn't have any power.
It's got the 3.91 rear. I may just say screw-it and bolt up a 2.97 to see what kind of gas mileage I can get.

Def tuck the bumpers! There were so many things that I wanted to do to that car but I needed something I could keep going for a daily driver. My Spirit is running pretty decent now. I may turn the boost up a little bit and see what happens.

Is that where that stuff went? I was looking for those for a while, I thought they might have been out with my other car among all my other parts. I have some more alt bushings somewhere too if they are not in that bag.
