that sucks, no jail time... You will just have a big fine and they will make you take a Defensive drivng class. If you already have a lot of points you will lose your lisence but I have learned its pretty hard to do that.

thats rediculous, it had to take some time to get up to 119, and once to that point im not sure I would have been too quick to stop. If he already has you clocked it would take him a while to actually catch up to you, you could be gone.

Attempted manslaughter is only if someone else is in teh car, or if you swerve at someone. I think if you are doubling the speed limit by yourself, i think its just willfull or something. That sucks though, but i kinda question teh 85 accord going 119.. i had trouble getting my old 88 to 105

I was shocked way back when, when david and prez stopped after doing about 115 right by a cop, at that speed he doesnt have a hope imo of catching a tag number...and they probably could have made it back to sams and not had any issues. But its all up to the driver's judgement, in there case probably a good call for trying their luck with the popo and only getting wreckless, or negligent I forget...

My last ticket was Racing on the highway. Cop couldn't clock me seeing as how I was on the otherside of the car I was racing, plus the dumbass cop didnt have his radar on. Wish he did though, we went from a 35mph roll. Just hit 45 ish when he flew by. Of course, stupid ass me turns.... shuts off lights, turns.... pulls into a parking lot with like 80 security cameras and leaves... Come back 10min later to 4 cops cars, 5 cops, and a K9 unit. Gt off with a ticket of.... $200 ish. And nice threat of how if I were 18 I'd be in jail, and any longer my car would be towed. Then my lawyer said bullshit. If they would have done either, I would have the right to press charges, sadly I didnt win the court case... It's still racing if the cop is only going by sound... All he knew, was revving the motor. :lol:

so the cop writes me up for 85 in a 60. they tow my car,but i pay the tow truck driver to release it to me(think they set that one up). after a few months of going back anc foruth to court they didn't show up and tix was dropped. never admit to any ticket that is really serious(make their lazy asses come to court and testify).
