Season 3 of the spec series that I've been running will begin Feb. 17th (Sunday nights at 8pm, every other week), using the Porsche Cayman S upgraded to B700, 360ish hp, 2700lbs.
This is a good entry level series, as assists are allowed, and everyone is driving the exact same car with the exception of custom wheel choices.
We usually have about two rooms, qualifying decides if you will run in the faster or the slower room, but the final race points are decided by ending race time, so if you ran a faster overall race in room 2 than the guys in room 1, then you can still take 1st for that week. Races consist of two 10 lappers, first one random grid order, second reversed trueskill (since there is no reverse lobby points option).
As always, www.simracinghd.com (http://www.simracinghd.com) for more info.
