anyone know where to get 351w roller cam block? id code is F4TE, i dont want to do the retrofit kit on a non roller block, the closest ive found is lawrence ks, id spend the same on fuel as what the blocks worth.

Idk know anybody with that for sale but i do know someone with a 460 and a C6 for sale for $300

I have one. I paid 3k for it, built with aluminum heads long block though. Ima put it in my Silverado.

The engine you are looking for is out of a '93 Lightning.

actually i was told the 93-96 trucks w 351 was also a roller block, as long as its the correct code it dont have to be out of a lightning.

Not certain where you're located,but I'd call around to all the local scrapyards. That motor is the same in all the trucks and vans as the lightning,only difference is the cam.

yep I have the list of all the trucks and vans with a roller block in it. I will post it on monday when I get to work, that way you know what vehicle to ask for.

Im well aware that there are lots of engines around, I was only stating that I might be making a trip to that city and would be willing to haul it if I do.

ill find one, but they are kind of popular so they dont stick around long if the price is right. i think 200 to 300 for a shortblock, and 600 to 800 for a longblock maybe a little more for a complete w accesories. midwest mustang in lawrence ks usually always has a few on hand but ive held out hoping to find one closer.
