Starting January 16th, and running every other Wednesday night at 7:30pm.

Cars allowed are shown below, 900 PI (except Cobra 910, Jaguar 910, Challenger 905).

No Traction Control, ABS, or STM allowed. No engine swaps or turbos except for the panoz which comes stock. Full weight reduction and racing slicks mandatory.

I'm hoping for about 15-20 guys for this season. We've had about 8-10 regulars that consistently showed up for the Summer of '70 league. Some of them are really competitive, clean racers that rival the top lap times, others are still learning to tune and remain a second or two off the pace, but still good drivers.

Race nights consist of a 10 lap qualifier (usually 2 rooms at once), then an 8-10 lap "last chance" qualifier, then a 25 lap main event. When we have enough people, we also run a B main event, giving points to the top 2 finishers of the slower room.

I just thought I'd see if I could pick up some more local people, since these leagues are the main reason that this game is still so much fun for me, it would be cool to race with some guys around Lincoln.

I think I posted this before, but here's some video from one of our 25 lap runs at Sebring (http://www.2designsite.com/SIM/TransAmSeries/transamseries.html). I literally followed Jay1000x nose to tail for the better part of 50 minutes, but he had more horsepower. The damage on the cuda was from the pit wall glitch, I never tagged anything during the race.

THose cars look horrible... Those are like PS2 quality at best...

That might make a difference to me if I spent all my time watching replays, rather than actually playing the game. :lol: I'll I ever see are bumpers and breaking points.

The 70's Trans Am series will be starting back up in April, adding the '73 Firebird as well.

you can drag race, jus find the right track, nurburgring works good. its really fun cuz its kinda like street racing!!

I honestly never even found the drag strip in the first forza until reading this, lol. Since my roommate had a modded xbox with a 120gig hard drive, we couldn't play on live, so I basically just played through career and painted cars.
