I love my Duratracs. I've had them since last winter and they do work great in snow.

yall sure its the tires? xj's are pretty boss in the snow all on there own, think the only way to stop one is a) rip an entire axle off the jeep or b) try to go thru drifts higher than the hood. just my experinces

I stuck my bone stock highway treaded XJ up to the doors, came to a complete stop, popped it into 4x4 and drove through it.

Tires are the only part of the vehicle that attach the 4wd to the ground. So I'm guessing it has something to do with the tires. :cool1:
The better the rubber, the better the outcome.

I think I could get one stuck if you would like to see it.

My zj got stuck going forward, once it plowed the pile of snow up over the hood, and the snow underneath kept it from getting traction from the soupy mud underneath in the ditch I was in. backed out like a boss though.

Nothing annoys me more than some douche bag talking about how bad ass there 4x4 is, so much so that it has "never been stuck".
That just means you weren't trying. Everything I have ever owned has been stuck.
