That's a lot of money for 3/4 ton axles. At that point you would be better off spending a little more and getting one tons.

Marty is most likely right. You could find a engineless tree line truck for that price.

Thanks for the heads up. It seemed about right cause I see 60's for around $1000. If you can give me a better deal on some 3/4 axles i'd be all over that.

When it does sell, i'll most likely be buying 3/4 axles, a front lift kit, shackle flip for rear, and brake lines. Maybe zero rates.

Depends what axles they are. If it's a full floater rear, than sure. If it's a semi floater, it's not much of an upgrade. As far as front 3/4 ton axle. The early Dana 44's have desirable flat top knuckles, but weaker external hubs. The later Dana 44's have the less desirable knuckles, but they don't make the axle any weaker, and they have the stronger internal hubs. A GM 10 bolt is the equivalent of a late Dana 44.

So again this is a: Stock 1980 custom deluxe, K30, manual (sm465), 205, reg cab, heat only, 292 in custom yellow, with a service box? Gears?

slownova
7th February 2012, 03:17 PM
Tag says 4.10 I'm pretty sure. Everything else is correct to the best of my knowlage. Has blue seat and the dash looks like your typical 1980 does. The hood has a kink in it also like they get. It's basically rust free minus surface In a couple spots.

Do you not agree with what I said? They may be worth $350, but I wouldn't pay anymore than that, and I would try to jew them down from that a bit. I am also a cheap ass. The no lockouts automatically adds another $100 or so that you will have to spend on the axles to make them work. I don't know if you can get cheap external hub lock outs. That is another reason they should be cheaper, and would be a handy bit of information for him to have, to try and get the price lowered. Sorry that hurt your little bitty feelings John.
