RANT: New Driver = TON OF FKN WORK!!!

Vista downloaded a new driver in the middle of a game of 2142... got that nice blue screen of death. :shock: I haven't seen that thing since i last overclocked my system.. Well after about 50 restarts and attempting to download the 8800GT driver (my graphics card) i finally got it downloaded/installed.. My current overclock settings are interferring with the new driver..



Long story short.. I had to set everything to default (computer is running slower now) and i get to spend a good hour of overclocking work to get it back up to where it was. Hopefully the new driver will let me push it further but we shall see.:nervous:

it's not the driver thats the problem.. just the issue of it ****ing up my previous overclock work... oh well.. maybe the card will work better with Ntune now.

i heard ntune is crap.

i've heard lot of really good things about it... i just can't use it with my graphics card for some odd reason. .

i forgot what my friend's dad recommended. he has quite a bit of experience with building/oc'ing.

Vista updated something on mine today and i had to restore it just to start up windows, it was gay. And i have the 8700M GT and the driver for it HAS to come from Toshiba, so i had to figure out a way around it because the stock driver was a pos. Well after bunch of **** and new drivers, games run 5x better and look better too.
