...but not faster than my new CBR 929. 150 mph with no windscreen is a little crazy.

hmm...i would have never guessed a 929 was faster than a N/A 6 cylinder.

same here, sounds pathetic really. a stock is300 runs low 15s, high 14s if you're lucky. However i could understand if the is300 was modded.... theres a **** load of turboed/2jzgt(t)e swapped is300s around anyways.

I was talking top end, I let him hang with me til about 140, then cracked the throttle the rest of the way. Unfortunately the semi and the cop up ahead kinda put a damper on it.

Mostly I posted this because I'm excited about my new bike.

I walked all over my friends red 5spd is300 in my red rx7 from a roll and a dig,
I was pretty suprised how slow it was.

They arent fast stock, thats all there is to it. Decent power, handles well, and a good motor to start with is really what you get. Obviously an N/A 2jz isnt that great, but you turbo it and thats when you have fun

yeh sadly enough im 90% sure my old sentra was actually as fast or slightly faster stock.

Thats still pathetic imo.... a bike should walk ALL OVER a stockish is300 no matter what speed. Im pretty sure an is300 isnt good for much more than 140-150 stock anyways, tho i have never attempted to try anyways.

Why would you toy with him until 140? If I were on a bike, there's no way I'd have the patience to **** around and wait for that IS to hit 140ish!

have you ever been to sneekers bike night yet? 300+ bikes every time, lots of 929 guys too

toyin with kids that think there car is faster then your bike is always fun.
