Laptop LCD screen

Hey guys, I was very upset that I dropped my laptop on accident and crack the LCD. It's a Dell Inspiron 1501 and Dell wants $498 to replaced them. That's a **** load of money, I can replace the screen but anyone of you know a place online or local that sell screen really cheap? I checked on ebay. The cheapest I found is $185 + shipping ($15). Most websites carry the screen for $300+ Any other place that beat that price?

doubtful anywhere in town would have a screen for that. you need to get the specific screen for that model.

I did the same thing last week... luckily for me my company has another computer that has a shelled out hard drive so they are gonna swap it over... maybe you can look on ebay again for a unit like that???

If I were you I would just look on ebay for a computer that got jacked up but the screen is still intact, then you could just swap the screens.
