my jeep runs about 215-220 all day when its hot out. You can't do a thermostat or at least flush your own fluid? haha.
On second thought... much better to let the shop do it for you.

go green on the coolant, and have it flushed.

Brandon,
Thermostat is $54 labor. A coolant flush is $88 (includes antifreeze, labor and additive). DO NOT USE DEXCOOL. Put green in it.
210 is ok. The fans usually dont even come on until around then.

well that's what my car says it need to take.... gm ones. i already pick up dexcool (gm) and lower hose so im gonna try fix it. well i know 210 is normal but it goes too far so im guessing my thermostat is fine it just leaking coolent fluid so lower hose looks old. so im gonna try start from there.

id just put water in it and get it flushed later after you get your leaks fixed, just make damn sure you do it before winter.
