i've only made 2 bets this entire year and that was before the season started... and they will be my only 2 bets.
David
3rd December 2007, 09:13 PM
i'm not a big fan of betting money.... but.... i think it's more for sportsmanship.. Pats were given alot of **** by all the cry baby teams for running up the score.. They can kick it up whenever they want.
Thunder

or maybe its late enough into the season that any team that is remotely respectable, can hang?

The only thing Balt has to play for now is the ablity to knock of Pats... so ya.. this is their biggest game...

we all think there are going to be interceptions or fumbles at critical moments. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it don't. But the thought is always there.
David

no... i had no thoughts about such a thing on the pats drive resulting in a FG.

I still don't think the Pats will lose. They make plays when it matters. They could have lost each of these last 2 games, but they didn't. Great teams find ways to win close games. I hope they win out for no reason other than to shut the 72 Dolphins the **** up. High and might old geezers thinking their **** don't stink while tipping their wine glasses back and talking **** about other teams every year.
That and I truthfully think the Patriots Offense is the best offensive group ever put together for 1 season. They have 2 players that may go down in history for being the best ever at their respective positions. Brady and Moss.

I hope the Pats win out, they have enough people rooting against them already, so I'll cheer them on to their perfect season.

I've got no favorite team in the NFL, not really even any teams I root for on a regular basis, so in this case I'm going to bandwagon a little.

My team in the NFL is the Patriots mortal enemy, and I am still rooting them on. But my favorite team to watch is the Vikings because of Adrian Peterson. Amazing running back.

I used this line once to describe Green Bay's earlier games, and that line was treated as if it don't count for them.
Dominant is 12-0 ...
I made no mention of their record not being dominant. However the last 2 games, they have been flat and look like a beatable team.
I just look at the 1998 Vikings and I keep seeing the Patriots of this year. Explosive offense, above average defense, but they showed their weaknesses in a few games and even lost 1. I don't like the 72 dolphins alumni that think they are on top of the world, but I don't like the Patriots period. Its the bandwagoners that make me hate them more. OMG patriots this patriots that, wait til they suck and they're no where to be found. Faux Fans. screw them.

I'm all for another team going undefeated, so long as it's not the Patriots or Cowboys. I think the Dolphins beat the Pats in the greatest NFL upset ever.

There are a couple of glaring differences between the Vikings of 98, and the Patriots of 07. Coaching and QBs. Culpepper was above average. Brady is probably the best ever. Brady has won Super Bowls with a bunch of nobodies catching balls for him. Once Culpepper lost Cris Carter, he turned to dog ****. And anyone doubting Bellichick knows nothing about football. That guy might have the best football mind of all time. He isn't old Don Shula smiling for the cameras though, so he has alot of haters. He is the guy that would tell the press to **** off if he could get away with it.

By the Patriots game the Dolphins might be playing a linebacker at QB, and a defensive end at running back with all the injuries they have had.
