Forza 2 Holiday DLC

Release date Dec. 7th, can be purchased seperately (cars vs. track), or together for 500ms points.

Said to include 1 more track from forza 1.

At least one BMW and a rally car of some sort.

Also supposed to include the most requested muscle car from the forums. I'm guessing either a fox body mustang, or some year of firebird.

With the addition of Road America and the '73 Firebird, we're going to start 2008 with a Modern TA series using the 2002 Camaro, 2000 Mustang, 2005 Mustang, 2005 GTO, Panoz, Jaguar, and Aston Martin at 900PI, followed by another 1970's TA series adding the Firebird. The old muscle series runs at 850PI.

Also, the owner/creator of the Kontrolfreek (http://www.kontrolfreek.com) thumbstick extension thingy races with us, and gives discounts to simhd members, not that it's that expensive anyway. I haven't tried it yet, but it's supposed to help for those of us who haven't bought a wheel yet or are waiting for a wheel that doesn't suck like the Microsoft/madcatz/logitech offerings.

I've had forza 2 for a while now and never really played it much, I'm gonna have to give it a shot and see what all the buzz is about

Pickup rooms online are hit or miss. The leagues and the group of people who run in them are a blast to race with.

Yeah, they really nailed the lighting and color saturation in that game from what I've seen so far. Car modelling and graphic textures don't seem all that different.

I don't think I'll be buying a PS3 for one game though. Besides, who wants to race a car you can't paint? :eek:

A kid in the ACC car club I run with in forza just bought this. I think he's 24ish, not sure what he does for a living, but his fiance is a doctor. Supposedly he's going to pay for it all himself by detailing and modding cars on the side. :woot:

Not an actual Z06, just a conversion. He has a '98 camaro that is supposedly 700+hp and runs high 9's out in California. Money must come easier out there, hehe. That or I need to marry a doctor.

GOD DAMN IT... I WANT A FUCING C6..

Affording a C6 in cal. would be alot easier than in nebraska. Cost of living is up yes.. but your making more.. meaning you can afford a higher price car..... In turn buying a $35k (what a used C6 runs for) is like buying a $20k car here. ok.. maybe thats a lil exaggerated.

I played a GT5 demo, the graphics aren't as great as everyone thinks..
