my mirrors are red already, and i'd rather deal with the pillar...

the paint is bubbling on it (common problem with the adhesive used). there are a bunch of guys who have had the dealer fix it, yet some cant. i tried duteau, they said they couldnt do anything about it

Almost every V6 camaro has painted pillars and almost every Z28 has black pillars. Therefore when i see painted pillars i assume its a V6. GHEY. I agree with cj that some SS's look good with painted pillars because of the hood, spoiler and wheels. But only some of them.

once a Z28 grows up and swaps hoods/spoilers etc its time to paint that pillar. There will be no mistaking it for a v8 car and it will look alot better.

the adhesive they used causes the paint to bubble, but not "explode"....fags

i suppose i could try husker, but its not high on my list of priorities

If you sand it enough paint will stick to it. I had the same problem when trying to paint a few pieces that used to be fake wood trim. The coating made the paint bubble. I sanded the paint off and sanded all the way down to the plastic, painted on some adhesion promoter, and it worked great.
