greedy ass NFL wants too much money. NFL network is only good for about 5-6 months. CNN and ESPN offer multiple channels and have 365 appeal and both combine cost less to cable companies than the NFLN

I thought it was satellite exclusive too. I even got into an argument with a co-worker. Then I got proved wrong. Cox cable has NFL network and is showing the game on ch 223. Isnt really helpful in this situation but it shows that some cable companies offer NFLN.

Yeah, I have Cox and we get NFL network. The Colts game was on there last week. All day Sunday after the 12:00 games are over they show all of the post game interviews. Good stuff.
As for the game, could go either way. I like the Packer's D over the Dallas D, but the Cowboy's O over the Packer's O because the Cowboy's have a better running game. Its really a toss up though. Either way I don't think the Cowboys will cover the 7 point spread.

I am not a Pats fan, but I am a fan of Tom Brady because he is a Michigan alum, and Randy Moss as a player, not much of a fan of his attitude while in Oakland or his final year in Minnesota though. I can also say Belichick is an amazing coach. The Patriots look unstoppable.

exactly... i've like randy since his min. days. Tom is amazing... we were having a long winded debate at work regarding the future of Vick.. This lead into an agrument on QB's in general.. Tom currently has the highest completion % of any QB ever... this is based on per season.. he's at 75% the next highest was like 71 or something. Sure there is plenty of season left for it to drop but it's still ****ing impressive as **** this far into the season. :bow1:
Belichick.. :Thumb: anyone who can get caught and bashed that much in the media and not care and then ****ing run the score on everyone is bad ass in my book.
The NFL has needed a team like the pats for awhile now.

How come the Broncos won that year?

they look unstoppable? They were nearly stopped twice this year. Yeah yeah, they won, but they could have easily lost it too...Great teams find ways to win close games. Great players are the ones that make them. The only thing that matters at the end of the day is who scored more points. The Patriots have done that in all 12 games this year. Your Packers have done it in 10 out of 12.
Cavadini

The patriots didn't "find a good way to win" against the ravens. Lets see what should ahve been the game ending drive.
1) 4th down and 1, tom brady keeps it, gets stopped, but some doofus assistant coach called timeout for the ravens.
LUCKout number 1
2) 4th down and 1, gets stopped again, false start called and brings them back 5 yards.
3) touchdown pass with teh holding call
that was not a "great" team moment, that is called sheer luck and if anybody can deny that they need to pull tom bradys **** out of their mouth.
After the eagles figured them out, randy moss has been limited to under 100 yards catching in two games, macaroni only had 44 yards rushing against baltimore, brady has been sacked more in the past two games than he has all year. and that's against two of the worst teams int he league. wait til pittsburg, IMO pitts is one of the most overrated teams in the NFL, but I think they're going to stick it to teh patriots.
and about the patriots "awesome" well rounded defense. Sure the patriots win lots of games and they do have a killer offense, but defense? they're decent but to say phenomenal I think is pretty rediculous. They let the amazing offense of the dolphins put up 4 touchdowns. Not to mention the past two games. They're in for a rude awakening I'm afraid.

The Packers have won more lucky games this year than anyone in the NFL. And the Ravens mental mistakes were as big of factors as anything the Patriots did to win that last game. I will be the first to say that. But they made the plays they had to and won.

the packers "lucky" wins were all valid plays, like the overtime touchdown bomb, the interceptions versus KC etc. How is that luck? that's playing football. I guess i'm missing any game where a bad call determined the packers "lucky" victory, but what do i know.
The ravens are a bad team who played to the best of their ability, nearly beat the "best" team in the league and should have wouldn't it have been for a couple shitty calls. Anybody who thinks the patriots played well in that game are smoking dope, interception, sacks, poor rushing, POOR defense(how many yards did McGahee have against that amazing rush defense?). They are eating way too much humble pie, getting lazy, and have a rude awakening facing the steelers.

I could go back and disect every Packer win thus far, and I am sure I could find some bad calls that went in their favor. It honestly doesn't mean that much to me to do so. Did the Patriots play a perfect game against the Ravens? Absolutely not. They looked horrible against the run. The game prior they looked horrible against the pass. But you can't really say the Ravens are a bad team. This same team went 13-3 last year. The defense of the Ravens is still their strong point, and when they are healthy they can shut anyone down. They have two of the best corners in the league, and a linebacking core that is nasty.
One thing about the NFL is any given Sunday any team can beat any other team. They are all professional football players that get paid millions of dollars to play the game. The Patriots can be beaten. The 07 Dolphins can win a game. Not every game the Patriots suit up for will they go out and throw 50+ points on the board. This team isn't bullet proof or immortal. They all live in the same unperfect world we do and are prone to making mistakes.
I do however believe the 07 Patriots offense is the most talented and best coached squad that has thrown pads on in the NFL.
David
