Roush 427R 1/4mile times?

Anyone know what those are supposed to run stock?

I saw a vid where a noob couldnt do better than a 13.4 out of it...

but that is all that I can find so far...

Word is mid thirteens are what you get stock. The IRS drivetrain in the roush has trouble hooking until third gear so its a little slower than you would expect.

I've heard that they are high 12 second cars, but I have no links to back it up.

I've also heard that the 427R "Trak Pak" is a low 12 second car out of the box. Who knows if this is true though.

Anywho, The Roush Stage 3 & 427R dyno around 360whp according to a few on SVTP that strapped them to a DynoJet. They are rated at 430hp, so I guess their rating is pretty close if you take a 15-16% drivetrain loss.

What you have to keep in mind is that the 05+ Mustang GT's (with only 300hp, and usually dyno around 265-270whp) have seen mid 13s, so I don't see why one couldn't hit 12s with 100 more whp. That is my thoughts anyway.

Not a damn thing. Typical Roush gayness. It is the same roots powered 4.6L found in the Stage 3 Roush.

On another note, I guess the Roush "Drag Pac" is capable of high 11s. I've yet to really read up on why though.

Nevermind. I guess the base ratings start out at 415hp on the 2007's, and are bumped up to 427hp after off road exhaust with the 427R. Word is that the 2008's have a smaller pulley, and make 430hp on the Stage 3 and 442hp with the 427R.

I love the new roushes... but... if i were to get a new mustang it would have to have the "glass roof" not sure what the really cool name is for it... but i seen it at andersen one night while looking at em... I was so impressed i thought about a trade in... then i realized it was still a mustang.
