F-Body Action 9-16-10

Last night anybody who is anybody showed up at the spot with their f-bodies for some racin'. 3 people showed. purplemx3, myblackz28, and myself.

Filming took place around the 1000' mark. And night racing FTL.

First up was purplemx3 vs myblackz28. myblackz28 took purplemx3 out of the hole by a car. He started pulling back once he hit 2nd. Purplemx3 wins by a car thanks to the LS1 god who grated him the power of top end.

Next up: Arcticbird vs myblackz28. Since I've lost to purplemx3 by 1.5-2 cars consistently, I figured my races against myblackz28 would be pretty close. In fact, I expected a tight loss. First run. I honk. I rev a little too high and lose traction out of the hole. He spins as well but hooks just before me. Once we made solid contact with the pavement, it was about as even as it gets. I lose by a car.

Round 2. I honk again. Out of the hole, he reacts slowly. This puts me in an early lead. Never saw his car reach my rear bumper. I win by a car and a half.
