I use network magic and I THOUGHT I had it all locked and ****. well I must have removed those settings somewhere along the way. Anyway, I see an intruder pop up saying this guy ltaschweitzer has signed on. So I quick encode the MAC filter or whatever function that is that basically prevents them from being able to sign in... well I'm not kidding 5 seconds later he signs back on somehow! is this a true hacker or something? luckily I have a cloaking function along with the lock that basically makes it look like I don't even have a router, and he hasn't gotten back on yet.
It shows this is an XP OS on a workstation and MAC address 00:16:CF:46:11:F9 if that's traceable or whatever.
I dont' see any cars anywhere close by.

So your network isn't password protected?

He uses the mac filter, a mac address is a physical "address" of the network card that identifies manufacturer, type, speed, etc. The MAC filter will only let certain MAC addresses in(ie: only certain computers, his personal computers) The MAC filter will allow you to connect, just won't allow any network traffic. Its like how UNL does it, so if you don't register your computer, you can connect, just can't do anything

I'm aware of that, I'm just wondering if he has tried password protecting it.
Fooling a filter is one thing, cracking a password is much more difficult.

See I have no clue what's going on. I installed the bastard, went through step by step install TWICE. Uninstalled it a week later to try and get a password on it. It never asked for it or anything.. which you need to log in at their website. But I'm really thinking that's just one more thing they do to try and get you to buy the premium package. I truly don't think I have a password. It's gay. I'll buy it when I get money, re-install it, and call tech support and be all like omgwtf...
