What about some of the wacky ones like 1976 AMC Pacer from Wayne's World and the 1974 Dodge Monaco from The Blues Brothers. May not be the coolest, but they are icons. I also have to agree with Coop and say the32 ford from American Graffitis.

I considered the BluesMobile, and I actually fully intended to include the MirthMobile, but I dropped the ball. Notice there's only 14 options instead of the 15 option limit. Really, what I should have done is have a poll for each of the Big 3. Then I also could have included the Mach 1 that James Bond drove in Diamonds are Forever, and the Hornet he drove in Live and Let Die (I think, one of the shitty Roger Moore ones). Have to throw the AMCs in with Mopar.

What about the transformers cars?

Those weren't cars, they were robots in disguise. (And if anything, I'd have thrown in the Decepticon Police Mustang over the Camaro. Bumblebee is supposed to be a Beetle, dammit.)

KITT

KITT hasn't been on the big screen yet, and when it does, it will have to go under imports.

Dude, it has an '86 Daytona Turbo Z CS in it. I am required to own it on DVD.

Turbo Interceptor FTMFW! The Wraith rules! I wasn't even going to vote if it wasn't on the list. I had my mind made up before I even saw the options.

I didn't know there was an import poll yet when I posted about Mad Max. And I forgot this was a domestic poll because I'm spacey.

The Dodge Interceptor isn't even the coolest car in "The Wraith". . . . . . . . . . . .

Milner's deuce coupe is the hands down winner, yet not an option. odd

There are a bunch of cool cheesey cars in that movie, but it has been a long time since I have seen it. The blown Firebird stands out in my mind though. Find more info on that movie for me, please.

I found it in the $5.99 bin at Wal-Mart, or I could probably just rip you a copy if you want.

Hell I don't even remember them all. The Barracuda was driven by that kid who huffed WD-40, the burger flipper drove some little English car (Triumph maybe?), there was the Firebird you mentioned, and the lead bad guy drove some disco Corvette with fixed headlights. And then of course the first car shown is a white '86 Daytona Turbo Z, which gets "converted" to a red and black CS with T-tops

. . . and then driven off a cliff. :( When they're all standing in the shop, they also show the nose of the yet-to-be-released '87 Shelby Z Daytona.

Here's the engine that actually powered the Interceptor- 2.2ltr, Cosworth 16v head, twin turbos, making 440hp.

Here's your Firebird:

I also believe it was Charlie Sheen's first 'major' movie.
