View Full Version : WL: 1990 Eagle Talon TSi

Well I might as well start one of these..picked the shell up last april from Matt. pretty clean shell overall..fading clear coat and a few specs of rust(looks like rock chip spots) with clean(but super ugly and gross) tan interior.

I then picked up an engine and accessories(ie manifolds) from my friend brett(93deesem) and the head got all rebuilt. Head was put on with ARP headstuds.

After that I did the balance shaft elimination, and also started on the timing process. (bad pic but here is the engine)

for some more info I have a rebuilt EPROM ecu that is socketed and ready for ECMlink(when I get to that point lol). I also picked up a Jay Racing alternator relocation kit, urethane motor mount inserts, 3 inch DP, manual boost controller. I found a pretty unique gauge holder on dsmtuners that I personally liked(tell me what you guys think)

Transmission was bought from a guy in omaha(pretty cool guy) and says theres only about 70k on it..hopefully that is the case. Clutch is stock. I'll be running the 14b turbo. Well thats about it for now, hopefully the engine and transmission will be in today :) pics will follow!

yes eventually lol. no money for it now...I'm more on getting it running first and working on the engine. not too worried bout painting right now

Thanks Nick! My bday is Monday(22nd) so I'm gonna be busting my butt this week/weekend to get it running! :)

figured id update this since I'm bored at work ha. Got the engine in awhile ago, been having problems with the back motor mount wanting to line up with the holes so its just kind of stuck on the mount. got the clutch/flywheel on the other day and realized I didn't have the starter plate so I'm trying to find one and then continue with the trans. picked up some goodies also a few weeks back that will be put on after it's running good stock first. Will get some updated pics when I can
