hello guys, i am new to the site, i see the top 20 fastest spots, that looks like alot of fun, maybe if it wasn't 30 degrees at night i would throw out a challenge, i have a 1990 Ford mustang coupe, it is a 302, with a upgraded cam and intake, it has full exhaust also, i raced a 03 cobra dark gray convertible but he missed a gear, a rematch is needed to see if the termy can beat a little 5slow,

well please comment away, i am ready for it, and i am thinking about challenging the #1 car on that list, would i get in trouble for that!!!!!!!!

what kinda cam? also, to get on the top 20, you first have to beat the number 20 person, and then you can challenge anyone you want, IIRC. rules are in there, just give them a quick read.

oh yeah it is definitely street legal, so slow it is, the 390 was out of a 73 f250, slow5.0's dad sold me the motor and i kept popping head gaskets on the top end, i got burned, must of been the dual quadrajets,

ummmmmmmmm, maybe somebody could call me out, i would like to get on the board(top 20) but it looks friggin hard, the number 14 - 20 look like easy 11 second cars

I believe you can go 2 or 3 spots ahead. But no, most of those cars aren't 11 seconds even.

I was able to get a LOT better traction on street tires with lower gears. You just can't be a dumb**** typical Mustang owner and dump the clutch at 9k. :lol:

This is Francis, I still have the coupe, but it is no longer white. Decided to go fancy on it, she's got a real nice two tone now. I'll have pictures of it when I come home over Christmas. As far as if i'm still around, well kinda sorta not really. I'm in Army now, so I'll only be around Nebraska on the holidays. But that's where my toys are at, so when i do come home I'll be looking to have some fun with them. The best the coupe went last year was only 11s N/A. I sold that drivetrain though, it bored me.

I don't understand why you make such a bold statement about racing me in MY car... I guess i didn't realize i went around racing a bunch of people in someone else's car. Sure, there's been times i've been asked to pilot some other guy's ride, but for the most part i have always done all my racing with MY car.

The 347 went 11.40s @ 118 on motor....
The H/C/I 302 went 11.90s @115 on motor.

I'm hoping with the boosted modular to be somewhere in the mid-low 10s. Everyone sees how easy it is to make HP in the '03-04 cobra's. Just imagine that in a coupe that weighs 2700lbs, drivetrain/fuel and all.
