1990 toyota celsior(lex ls 400)

found this on ebay local in m.o.(by joplin) for a fairly cheap price(price classified).. the guy really didnt take care of it or show it ANY love.

but me being the tuner i am and also in a mid-life crisis. i figured why not..

iam guessing he pissed someone off and they trashed his wondows.

the windshield,back glass, and back driverside(i already replaced that one) needs to be replaced. then other wise it needs a tuneup and some tlc.

and i get to drive a lex around for a while. it has the original radio(it sounds great-pioneer speakers,but no cd changer).

never thought i'd own 3 cars(not while i was poor) but i would like to sell it for 2 grand after i clean it up and give it a tune up..

the seats and interior are still dirty(not up to my standards) so i have some cleaning to do. ive located a back window and will get that done this weekend. and a windshield hopefully next wknd. it runs and drives good(still need an alignment) and it starts right up. just looks like a lot of scrubbing and cleaning..

i go to pick and pull and get my parts for free or next to nothing so that is making this a (not so painful) not restore(but cleaning up) project.

^^^ maybe. i wanted to flip it. but i do like having a sun roof and the automatic adjusting steering wheel and light dimming rear view mirror are very cool.

i just can't get over the weight. i mean this is a heavy ****ing car(the doors are a ton).

but so far the v8 dosent seem that thirsty when it comes to gas.

-leakly powersteering pump
-rips in the front leather seats
-the pesky "air bag" light
-a cel
-and the trac light
-and a leaky spot on the exhaust
-i think the right side has bigger tires(the seller did say he put some bigger ones on it
-some nick/nack ****.

all in all unless some major happens i think i can tacke this.. my first v8 so i need to get a air filter

AND I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND THE ****ING RADIATOR CAP...

you should get that leaking ps pump fixed, that's what killed my red FD
