I need to get about 4" of lift out of the rear of my 86 K10, so I was getting ready to order the ORD 4" shackle flip. Then, I saw on their website how if you use the 2.5" flip and 6" HD shackles you have better flex out of your springs? Seemed like a good idea to me but I didn't really want to spend $90 more on shackles right now. After trying to do some research, I saw DIY 4x4 has shackle flips as well, which use a non-factory style shackle. I think this seems better, or cheaper at least because I could make my own shackle brackets or use theirs and there only $25 vs $90. Any of you tried the DIY 4x4 version?

I have the DIY setup on my K5. I made my own shackles just like you said. I like the fact that you can change shackle length very easy with their setup. The welded nuts are nice for installation too.

I have the ORD ones on my K30. I installed the DIY4X ones on Wade's K10. The DIY4X are hands down better. I regret not getting them for my K30.

That was my impression when I saw DIY's website. Looks like I'm gonna get the DIY ones.
