What are some good sites to check into this.

I'd like to do a 2-3'' body lift to put possibly around 32-34'' tires.
I have two'' coil spacers read to put in but i want to replace all my bushings on the front end first which says that you can put 31'' tires with the 2'' spacers. But i'd like to get ahold of a nice body lift for bigger tires. Let me know what you can help me out with.

Nope i've only done ebay, but was keeping options open. I don't plan to get it for a month or two, so wanted to do a little research.

4wd is probably the best website for jeeps maybe even your ZJ can be found on there. Its worth a look.

I'd say for a 4cylinder non lifted jeep it looks decent. I got some vids of that day, i hung with a lifted f150 4x4 all day and had no problems EDIT: i even had to pull him out

AND you just wouldnt want to do that to yours, too much **** to move. just get a normal lift for now and a body later if you want:Thumb:

Your ZJ is a unibody so they don't make a body lift for it. Body lifts go between the frame and the body so since your frame is part of the body you can't lift it that way.

For those of you that don't have a unibody, bodylifts are good in some situations, because they don't raise the center of gravity as high as a suspension lift. Usually you see them added onto a vehicle with a suspension lift, to get that extra little bit of clearance to fit the larger tires. 3" is the maximum height you typically see, as any higher will put too much stress on the bolts holding to frame to the body.

Lol yeah i guess i never paid attention to my own jeep, and never really looked into it

for the simple fact i've seen body lift kits i figured it wasn't a unibody. Obviously it is though.

Yea, just do the spring spacers, you'll want new shocks and swaybar end links too. You should be able to fit 31's without trimming. Or you could do what I did, which is a 3" front to rear lift, where you put the front springs in the rear and buy lifted front springs, but you'll need a new front trackbar.

I've got 2'' spacers for now, and one of the endlinks broke so I'm just going to take out the one for now and see how it goes.

And I may be going a different route with this project so I may not want 31's lol.
