Jealous. You see any 4 door Hilux trucks like mine over there? They put SFAs in them until 97.. why cant we get that **** over here?! Plus they have an option for a diesel motor.

DarkSlide
1st November 2009, 08:11 PM
I've seen Hilux's but they don't really look like your truck lol. Tons of like mini trucks boosted tho. I did see like a badass turbo suzuki mini suv that had a loud ass bov, it was sweet. my host father has a mini suv of some kind and an old land rover.

You obviously needed more of a truck then. I wish someone would have taken some pics of Trevor's truck up by the Coke plant that time I yanked him out. It was stuck worse than that, and the tow truck driver said I wouldn't get him out.

funny thing is that the truck almost made it from the looks of things, then it got stuck at the end

whats the info on the truck? stock with tires or good stuff?

95Banshee
2nd November 2009, 12:55 PM
4 in lift 35in tires lockers front and rear 355sbc cam, headers, intake, heads, 650 carb.
it does amaising in mud drags 2nd or 3rd in his class. it was barried if u dont belive me how badd the clay and sand is come out u will get stuck.

82355
2nd November 2009, 12:56 PM
Speed probably got it that far, but yeah, more info on the stuck Chevy.

82355
2nd November 2009, 12:58 PM
If I still lived down there, I would have come and pulled him out, and then drove through it.

82355
2nd November 2009, 12:59 PM
Also, what axles, what gears, and what tires?

95Banshee
2nd November 2009, 12:59 PM
do u have wide or narrow tires. my wide bald tires seem to do good because they dont dig into the sand that easy.

95Banshee
2nd November 2009, 01:01 PM
10 bolt front and rear kumho kl71 3.73

82355
2nd November 2009, 01:02 PM
I have 36x12.50x16.5" bias ply Super Swamper TSL's. So intermediate.

82355
2nd November 2009, 01:05 PM
10 bolt front and rear kumho kl71 3.73. Why did he waste money locking ten bolts? Also that tire name means nothing to me. Size?

95Banshee
2nd November 2009, 01:57 PM
35x12.50x15 that sand is vary easy to dig into whe3n u have tread. and it is a mud drag truck so lockers are holding up fine in the 10 bolt.

82355
2nd November 2009, 05:37 PM
I am not concerned about the strength of the lockers, it's the ten bolts that are junk. Especially the rear ten bolt.

95Banshee
2nd November 2009, 05:49 PM
its been mud draged for a few years like that and had no issues.

Hillbilly
2nd November 2009, 07:22 PM
I am not concerned about the strength of the lockers, it's the ten bolts that are junk. Especially the rear ten bolt.

My k10 has a rear locker and a front true trax and I broke a front axle on a mud road. He must be a pussy. I was ready to head up but you never answered if I could get my full size in there.

95Banshee
2nd November 2009, 07:52 PM
ya thanks but we found the kid with the two high lift jacks that truck would have never came out unless the front was lifted up. thanks for trying to help.
and i keep telling him he is going to break an axle but so for he hasnt. so its not my truck so weel see what happens he hardly takes it through stuff like that but he was jelous because his GF drove my truck through it and then up the hill he couldnt make it up. and back through again.

82355
2nd November 2009, 11:26 PM
I guarantee you I could of pulled that out. I broke a ten bolt axle on pavement with 31's.

95Banshee
3rd November 2009, 07:57 AM
I told u its not my truck and i could care less what happens to his axles.

Hillbilly
3rd November 2009, 07:58 AM
Never underestimate the ability of a k30 with a 20' run at something. I have a strap thats 6" wide you can't break with a truck.

95Banshee
3rd November 2009, 08:36 AM
he didnt really want to get it out by jerking it hard he wanted to winch it or pull it.

DarkSlide
3rd November 2009, 08:57 AM
I personally prefer to jerk it hard.

Bobby Light
3rd November 2009, 10:08 AM
man, I was getting ready to drag a d11 down there and pull some ****

oh well, next time maybe.

82355
3rd November 2009, 10:22 AM
You broke a couple of chains not wanting to jerk it out?

Hillbilly
3rd November 2009, 10:29 AM
They were dog chains martin.

95Banshee
3rd November 2009, 12:30 PM
they were big chains and thoes broke when we got frusterated and tried to jerk it.

Hillbilly
3rd November 2009, 03:29 PM
Chains will break before most straps and are WAY more dangerous. Throw them away and buy a BIG strap. I could hang a bulldozer from mine.

C.J.
3rd November 2009, 05:04 PM
Yeah I learned at an early age of 4wheeling that chains are never a good idea, straps are the way to go. My 30,000 pounder hasn't failed me yet.

95Banshee
3rd November 2009, 05:21 PM
that was all we had at the time and i like them for winching so i will keep them but ya im not a big fan on them they break things.
