Unless you're dead set on a fusebox relocation i would advise against it, it's a pain in the ass from personal experience

Well i removed the ac and power steering tonite and did a bunch of cleaning. The strut towers have very little rust. Got the charcoal canister out. If tommarrows nice im gona start removing the ac condenser and mounting the fmic. Plans for the car are still being debated. I found a good deal on an awd talon and i rly want to do an awd swap. Been doing a bunch of reseach and im really tempted to do it.

I was gona keep the fusebox in the same area just mount it so it looks better and i get more room. I think im gona run it up and down on the passenger side and run the intercooler piping underneith it.

Ya the timing belt was busted so i honestly didnt know if it was good. I went to u pull on 60th here in omaha. Found a 420a with compression in all cylinders half pulled already and it has a piece of metal stamped on a coolent plug saying warranty void ect. I put it in the trunk of random car tell i get payed lmao. There was water in the oil pan but it was still filled with oil and nothing is siezed up. But i found that every car with a 4g63 was already stripped.

that overheat button you found may indicate the motor was replaced, but not neccisarily that it was new/ rebuilt. most salvage yards stick them on used motors they sell.

Well all gaskets are new and the motor is very clean. head looks as if it was just dipped and clean and the block has the orange color. Timing belt also appears brand new since there is no wear on it. What should you check when buying a motor from a junkyard.

my only advice would be to pay an amount of money where you can't be disapointed. some internal surfaces will rust surprisingly fast too. like cam lobes for example.
