Apparently the OP just wanted us to know that it was time to work on his car, not that he was actually going to do it.

With is you could Cruise the Vistas. I want one to pull the camaro with. I think of it as a lowered crew cab with a topper. 455/400 what more could you want?

A manual so it'd make more power.

Cranks aren't drilled, big deal.

Though I do think a 4 speed vista crusier would be cool (like that one of one L72 4 speed kingswood wagon) I would be happy with a 400/GV.

Not all 442s were 4 speeds. The cranks are only drilled if the motor came in a 4sp car.

I am aware of that. Need I quote John again?

It's a 68 olds cutlass 442 and i orders some fenders for it online but they won't be here till next week. I am still trying to find some decent door skins and quarters. Right now the motor is completely out of it so i have the garage just about set up to get it up here. Its about a 45 minute drive to get it and since it has to be trailered, im just gonna drop it in the garage. so, just an update.
