Bow season is on but with all of the Corn still in the fields it's a tough go... Rifle season start in a few weeks and then it'll be house cleaning time!!!

Falicy, Truth be told it depends more on where the deer is taken and what it's diet is like than it's age... Around here where they eat a lot of good crops is better than say something that comes from the sand hills or even a more woodland area for that matter.

depends what part of the sand hills, where we hunt the deer almost feed exclusively on the alfalfa and wheat plots. They taste great btw.

**** dudes, i'm trying....put a stalk on 2 bucks yesterday morning about 9am. i was within 60 yards (bow hunting), need to get to at least 40 yards for a confident shot. A doe about 50 yards to my left was bedded down. I never saw her, she jumped up and snorted and they all took off. Dammit. Will try again next saturday.

That is really quite common.

Not the farmers fault, the weather isn't permitting it. My old man is just about done though.

See? It is soft as **** out there.

Had to got get an old wagon to unload a little bit at a time, so the tractor could pull it out (it was spinning six tires)

Yeah, I was going for something along the lines of using advanced technology to overcome a dumb herbivore, but just really didn't pull it off.
