well brought it for 2 grand with 150,000 on the clock(now it has almost 155) runs good excpet from some hesitation(just slight)when i floor the pedal. i figure its cause its a wagon and its slow as ****(for now).
Off the line its nothing to get a hard-on about. but it gets up to 100mph without any raddles ot massive shaking(must have balanced tires). it dosent feel as fast at highway speeds. not bad on gas.

This is my first dry-clutch car. and i had to learn the throttle curve with these things. very harsh engagement(not as forgiving with hydorlic). It's my first black car in a long time and i forgot how hard it is to keep this mother clean. In n.y.c. people(unless its club night, weekend) really can give a **** less if their cars are clean or not(and there are not self car washes either).

but here i go once a week. but a black car now i have to dry really good(****ing soap spots). so its a car from the north east so there is going to be rust. usually around the fenders.

my front left fender is shot to ****. so iam going to replace it so iam really not concerned with it.

i got a feasable of rust on the rear and a spot on the roof by one of the roof racks.

http://i495.photobucket.com/albums/rr317/supersayianjim/project%20sti%20guy/SL731543.jpg

i start bangging off the loose ****(like a ****** in times sq).

http://i495.photobucket.com/albums/rr317/supersayianjim/project%20sti%20guy/SL731544.jpg

my plan is to die grind, cut off the rust(visible)untill i get to a body guy who can weld me some replacement on. Not really a body guy myself iam kinda flying blind here. but doing this kinda sparked my interest in doing this for a living(maybe) i might give uti a call.

well i guess its time i give an update. been knocking off some more rust to buy me some time untill i find a good welder(abd been ****ing with my nissan)

took to the spare tire compartment. noticed there was water there in the center everytime after it rained. so i got the air compressor and went to work.

http://i495.photobucket.com/albums/rr317/supersayianjim/project%20sti%20guy/SL731643.jpg

got rid of all the rust now need to seld some steel there to stop the drafts(its getting cold).

now its off to the spot on the roof i had

http://i495.photobucket.com/albums/rr317/supersayianjim/project%20sti%20guy/SL731691.jpg

and viola. i think i did a good job for someone who dosent know **** about autobody. now all thats left is to knock off some surface rust underneath the car.its an east coast car and its not rusted that bad(compared to n.y standards) just needs a few spots of steel and its ready to to. also i installed my hid kit from my van since this also uses a h4 headlight.

http://i495.photobucket.com/albums/rr317/supersayianjim/project%20sti%20guy/SL731692.jpg

now next is getting a aftermarket cone adapter(just the plate) which seems to be a pain to get(even on ebay)..

well now i have 161,000 miles on the clock and its still ticking(these cars are very relaible i might say so myself). its about due for some spark plugs but in the next week or 2 i should have that taken care of. want some alloys but other than that ready for winter..

got the hole in my spare tire section welded for 10 bucks so thats done. just have some rust to die grind under neath the rear and of corse the body work that still needs to be done.

not only a member also a client.

was going to but a air filter adapter on ebay. but wanted to save the 30 bucks and took a ka24de one and drilled and fabbed to make fit.

its not throwing a cel code and the car feels like its pulling better. there is a whine now since the cone is in the corner of the engine bay. will look into improving airflow to it..
