Well we have newb to the rat rod scene here. I am helping a buddy with this truck. Its a 1952 chevy 3100 i believe, 3 on the tree. Saturday we went and pulled this thing outta a pasture where it was sitting since 98. Picked it up for $500. Ex State of Nebraska truck add to the cool. Sorry about the all diff color wheels we were trying to find a color that looked good.

Saturday afternoon/evening we gutted the cab(feild mice everywhere) and then went to the engine. Well sure enough it was free. Pulled the vavle cover off cleaned out mice nests, put the carb on the previous owner took off. He plugged intake with a Dr Pepper bottle. Put a battery in it, and hooked it up the "right" way and turned over the motor. Bent a pushrod, straightened it out in the vice tapped the valve free and tried again and what do you know runs and idels great. This weekend we are rebuilding the carb and master cylinder and trying to get brakes.

Plans
Rebuild Carb
Radiators in the shop now
Rebuild Master since it isnt pumping
Get all matching chevy wheels with porta walls.
Leave the Nice paint job alone.
Lower it.

We are looking into lowering it cheap and easy. So far the options that I have seen is a new drop axle or mono leafs. Will the steering need to be messed with when lowering. Opinions wanted. I was gonna try to set the axle on top of the leafs but my friend didnt like that idea much.

Thanks alot guys

Then figure out a way to integrate the TBI to the six cylinder. That would be cool, I think.
