why not just save the motor instead of 'trying' to blow it up incase something happens with the 6-bolt swap? That way you always have a spare motor to throw back in the car, or sell if you need more money down the road?

Your plan is stupid. If you were going to build a completely different motor than why the hell didn't you start building the other motor and keep the motor you had running until the other motor was finished? What was the point in blowing it up? Now you have two non working motors. Sweet plan

i allso noticed the only place on the head that gets oil from the block is this little hole in the head stud hole. this works good with the stock diamater head bolt. but with my ARP head studs it leaves allmost no room for oil to travel to the head so i opend up the hole 2mm wider about a inch down.
my guess is this will help with lifter tick. and give me piece of mind for my turbo oil supply.

hey man. might not remember me but i got the really clean 2g identical to yours, cruised next to you this last summer. anyway. love the car man. it was lookin pretty rough but you got a sick build and really turned it around. when i get back here this next week from ait and basic i plan on starting my build. not near as extreme as yours but a good start. i am gonna use the 50 trim i got for now and maybe get the fpgreen later but ya man. hope to see ya around. take it easy. good luck with the rest of your build
