2 years

Your operator’s license and/or operating privileges can be revoked for accumulating 12 or more points within any two (2) year time period. Points are calculated from the date of violation, not the hearing or judgment date. Upon receipt of a conviction of a violation (in Nebraska or any other state that is a member of the Compact), the violation is placed on the driving record and points are assessed.

dmv can give you a complete record for like 3 dollars. i had an accident that wasnt reported but it showed up because police were involved. no points, but its on there. i think its 3 years for insurance to clear it.

chris, you might stop by your insurance agency and tell them you were considering getting insurance on your own, go through the whole deal and see your record and say ** NO I AINT DOIN IT. youll see your record where it matters.

Yeah I've gotten my record a couple times now from that place downtown-ish.

But yayyyy, I've gotten lots of points back if its 2 years.
