hey was just wondering are you the guy with the silver fd i raced last year at the scr cruise night? if it is did you ever get your car to start?

yeah that was me, the engine blew and im still trying to get the old motor out and save up the money for a new motor. It will be out again sometime soon but idk when.

thanks, it ran good until i decided to beat it without exhaust and the boost just wasnt holding right, hitting fuel cut and everything else, i really dont know when it will be back out, hopefully by spring but it just depends on how everything comes apart and goes back together.

ur dumb, of course i will lose, a gt35r turbo'd mustang, i knew i would lose before i raced him. After the race he told me that he lost a cylinder and head gasket, i never knew about it before we raced and as far as i know and remember neither did he. AND...a stock fd runs low 14's, not exactly fast. Go climb some curbs with ur Jeep

i think he was just busting your balls. i had heard from multiple people like will, starion dave and cj that your fd was pretty quick.

i would say that it was around mid 13's before the motor went. I remember when i raced andrew in his mustang that starion dave just went by both of us in the middle of the race. I think when we both let off andrew was like 2 cars ahead of me. It stayed good until i shifted.

this is all i will say. that cruise night after the cruise was over, andrew had first asked me to race cause he said he wanted some kind of baseline but i told him that i had raced enough that night since i had already raced cj's old ss, coles old 30th anniversary, the fd, nortons wrx, a red cobra, barnes's mirage, a red 1g, and maybe something else. so i told him that up until the top of 3rd me and the fd were even so he could try you, since pretty much everyone was gone. andrew said "yeah ill run him" so you guys raced. after the race the fd didnt come back but andrew did. andrew told me that he beat you by about 3 cars maybe a little more. earlier that night andrew did tell me he was having some boost problems in that it would only hold 5psi. he did not mention to me about having any engine problems until maybe 2 or 3 weeks later at kelvins halloween party. at that time he told me that he had either closed the gap on one of the plugs or had destroyed the ground strap. either way that is definitely an indication of a bad tune and it at least at some point was not running right.

when i raced the fd i was on 8psi. on this setting i ran a 14.2 at 106mph. i had a friend with a black fd with the same mods but still had his n1 catback on and was running 10psi and he ran a 13.7 at 102mph at scribner on a 2.0 60ft. so i figured since you were running open downpipe on 12 psi and your top end up to at least 3rd was even with mine that you should be around 106 as well. so if you could launch or cut a sixty foot similar to my friends fd with more mph you should be around at least a mid 13.

If we had a track around here then i would of known definately what it would of ran...as far as the race with me and andrew, how could he of come back? After the race he pulled over at a gas station in havelock over by burger king and we talked for awhile, i thought he had the car towed home or to some shop after me and him raced, maybe im remembering wrong idk but thats what i thought happened.

omg learn to take a joke. so what u lost. like it'll never happen again and like this will be the last time u hear of this race. and yea andrew did say he was only on 7 cylinders. and it was at least 3 cars. i was in the car lookin back. then yea andrews car broke and i towed him back in the jeep. and who the **** climbs curbs???? can i come climb the fd since its not serving any other purpose?
