I have only actually "fixed" 1 out of the 20 fix-its I have been issued. I don't know if that is bad, but nothing has happend to me yet. After so many fix-its, they will just issue a regular ticket if it continues to be a problem. (which has happened to me also)

96eclipse, if you want my honest opinion, you have much larger scale problems to worry about. Take Martin's advise, and forget about it.

I have fix it tickets from more counties in Nebraska than I can remember. The only ones I ever had signed off were the ones I got in Milford in college, just to avoid further harrasment from them. They had to many bored cops for one small town, and they would keep pulling you over for the same ****.

Ya cops here will stop you for the same things all the time. Last fix it ticket i got was no rear license plate.

How bad is your windshield? To my knowledge, Nebraska doesn't enforce cracked winshields as long as you can still see through them and they're not a safety concern. I've had more vehicles with cracked windshields than I can remember and I've never had a cop mention anything.

So it was the shifter linkage.

yup it was the shifter linkage...and my window is bad, half of the driverside window is cracked..first it was hit by a rock on the highway that acually chiped the glass on the inside...and someone threw a gallon water jug at it while i was driving

Every cop here thinks there the king cop. I get to go to court sep 3rd because i got pulled over at 12.15 cuz my headlight went out. He gave me a p.o.p and i turn 18 the 27th.

i just received a fix-it ticket for my windshield while receiving a speeding ticket in iowa over the last few weeks...the ticket said it would need to be fixed in 5 days and verified (similar to no front plate in nebraska).....
well i took that ticket and wrote on the back my roster for flag football and gave it to the league so i no longer have the ticket....problem solved!
