Hey chad or pat, what would you guys want to run through diagnostics on my car and figure out this PITA idle problem?

95 Honda Del sol, but a 92-96 honda prelude si motor (H23A1) .

I've cleaned the Fast Idle Valve, and Idle Air Control Valve. Pretty sure there arn't any vacuum leaks. I'm boggled at this point.

jay kay, forreal though. The idle was tolerable because it only did it when it was really cold, and it would sputter once in awhile when it was fully warm.

Then I cleaned out the Fast Idle valve, and now its bouncy 24/7 and its SO ****ING ANNOYING.

I figured cleaning it would solve the problem. fml

The IACV is the problem 99.9% of the time. It usually requires a replacement rather than just a cleaning.

Theres alot of possible problems.

If the IACV is the problem, explain to me how cleaning the FIV altered the idle? Plus its been swapped and Idk what that retard ****ed up swapping it.

Theres already a temp sensor with nothing plugged in, and another random plug, that doesn't fit the temp sensor. Plus the egr isn't plugged in (but is capped off) fml.

sometimes you can get away with not replacing it. some special turns of a couple screws and bam... problem solved.

Let us know if you do not get it handled.

Yea I'm pretty lost at this time, I'll probably give you a call tomorrow around 3:30 unless you post back on here before then. Do you guys have any spare time ?
