1984 Trans Am needs exhaust. How in the hell do I route dual exhaust under this damn thing?

run single then just mount up a tip on the other side viola dual exhaust tips

He is pretty much right, just run a nice 3" single catback.

Thanks for the suggestion but single exhaust made to look like dual just isn't dual exhaust.

So my buddy tells me that it's impossible to run dual exhaust on this thing. It is tight under the car but I fail to see the impossibility of the dual exhaust concept. Is there anyone one here who has had dual exhaust on this type of car?

Thirdgen.org has a thread about this with pics. its tough to get them to fit.

We put an over-axle system on my brothers old lt1, it was a ***** but it fit, honestly after fighting that and the rattles, just put on a nice 3" catback and be happy with it.
