Throwing this out their just for shits and giggles. If nobody is interested I'll just keep throwin money in it as a project.
H23a1 motor(2.3L)
~95k miles on it
Runs great but the idle can be funky sometimes. Usually it bounces when its cold, and smooths out when warm, but sometimes it'll dip to 500 and bounce up, or on a rare occasion, it will die. (ill figure it out someday)
GSR 5 speed transmission
~95k miles on it
Transmission grinds 3rd a bit, but shifts very smoothly for a short time after a cold startup (like 15 degrees outside) leading me to believe that it just needs a fluid change. (on the to do soon list)
Exterior:
~225k on it. (maintenance kept up)
Some rust, several small dents, hood is primer black, front bumper has alotta scrapes, I'd give it a 5/10. I plan on doing all the body work and repainting it here in the next couple of months.
Interior
Drivers seat has common wear. Small rip. Passengers seat is pretty good. Carpet isn't too bad. All buttons / controls work and look good. Dash / doors all look good. Pioneer HU will come with (normal 22x4 with an aux port in front) . At some point I'll be steam cleaning the seats and carpet.
Things I've fixed since owning:
New radiator / hoses / coolant flush
New 1 piece headlights
New brakes on the rear
New HeadUnit
New speakers
Different Distributor
Rerouted vacuum lines and replaced vacuum lines
New PCV valve
New washer fluid nozzles for hood
Points worth mentioning:
Spiderweb crack in windshield (first on fix list)
Back tires are bald
Have set of 18's that I'll be powdercoating and throwing rubber on
Will be prewired (8ga power wire) for subs.
Top does NOT leak, seals well, car warms up quickly.
Car is fun as hell to drive, is pretty quick and nimble. I have a carfax for it thanks to spoonraker! Nothing like being able to pull the targa top off in the sun then still being able to drive all winter. Lemme know if you're interested whatsoever
