I havent done it because I have custom lines and a bmw master cylinder anyways, but I have had friends who have done this mod on their Trans Ams and Camaros and all said that it worked great.

do it or buy 01/02 hydraulics which dont suffer the same problems as 98-00

They actually do, or in my case there was a restrictor. Very easy to do. There is a write up on what size bit to use on LS1howto.com

i had the same problem with my t/a, did the drill mod, still had the same problem. just ended up changing the clutch, p/p, and slave and it solved my problem.

another way to fix it is put some 2.08 gears in the rear, then you only have to shift 1-2 times

Automatics...or me?

Personally I'd say no to both, well depending on the application of the first one.

im kinda doubting its the clutch or pressure plate.

previous owner told me that he had changed the slave not too many miles ago and it likely needed to be bled. i knew that much when i bought it. i figure i might as well do the drill mod since it'll need to be bled after that anyways.
