I ran the silver Evo last night

so I guess he got all his problems fixed with a tune and we ran last night.

He gets me out the hole by 2 cars and Im stuck chasing him down. Once I hit 4th gear, I pull him hardcore up top. However, unaware of the quarter, I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he got me by a 1/2 car. Depending on where the quarter ended, it could have easily been me by 1 car lol.

his car runs pretty good.

None of us knew where the 1/4 ended. I just told him he got me by a half car. It was a real close race.

he said he was told 6 poles. Having raced at kearney, I can say that 6 poles is NOT 1/4 mile. Maybe 8. It would be nice to remeasure sometime. The only reason why it was a questionable call was because when I hit 4th gear, i was passing him standing still haha.

thats what i thought. i mean i was out last night and it wasnt racing but i was taking the mustang sideways around some corners... it was way to wet all last night to be racing.

it was wet out when i went to bed and it was wet out wehn i woke up... the conclusion would say that it was wet all night. While i do understand it could have dried from the time i went to bed and then got wet again.

the rain wasn't a factor at all. when we were leaving it was just starting to get some droplets and 30 or so min after we got back it was down pouring though.

They *can* run a 14.1 on a better than average run. The runs I saw with a good driver put them more in the 14.3-14.5 range on average. With a bad driver I would expect you might see them up in the higher 14's if not 15's.

Car's don't typically run their best times every time, especially on the street.

hahah I remember when I lived with my buddy LeMarcus in a duplex right on 30th and T.
4th of july we heard soo many guns going off.
that was a interesting neihborhood, he grew up there and new everyone.and home the duplex's front door was next to ours with a small stoop. and I would walk up and would always see someones hair gettin braided, or their front door would be open and rEAk like weed, and the one ladies boyfriend kicked her door in one night, when she wasnt there,
then he had threatened to come back so her brother (prolly one of the scariest guys I know) started staying there, and that guy would come over and pound on the door telling her to come out. finally he brother got ahold of him, it was ****ing nuts, they were going at it in the alley behind the duplexs and the cops never came,( doubt they were called) but the guy was just left laying in the alley.

Yep. I was averaging 14.3s consistently when mine was 100% down to the tires. I would say 14.1's would be more of a "best". lol
